Even after WWII had ended, these soldiers remained on these ignored islands under the belief that the war was ongoing. This book tells the story of an unimaginable conflict that arises when these Japanese soldiers are confronted with an American nuclear submarine.
About the Author
Richard Heller has been an Officer and Director of the New York Council of the US Navy League for over 25 years. He created a number of libraries for numerous nuclear submarines, and was awarded a Life Time Service Award by the Navy League for his numerous contributions.
Richard has over 100 hours of flying for the Coast Guard Auxiliary, and was considered for an award after discovering a downed airplane in the Hudson River. His books represent a blending of his experiences and creative thought.
